"Kantha Meets Boro" - A fusion of Asian stitching influences

Kantha is an Indian form of decorative running stitch and Boro is Japanese and means patches or scraps. Thus we will enjoy recycling old bits of lovely fabric by stitching them though a background to create a new fabric – an ideal panel for a bag, wall hanging, framed picture, or piece of clothing. It is a lovely project to take on holiday for a bit of simple stitching.
Handstitching, suitable for all abilities. There is an option to do this workshop by machine to create a larger piece and can be done to beautiful effect with a Sashiko machine.

Cost:  £38 for Guild Members (early bird, book before 31st January £35)

          £50 for non-Guild Members (early bird £47)
