Modern Christmas Tree Skirt Workshop with Liz Coleman

This event takes place on 3rd October 2021 from 10:00am to 5:00pm and will take place at Zoom. It is a Guild event being organised by Jan Allston, .

** Please note there is a break for lunch from 1pm-2pm **

This 'Christmas Tree' skirt (or as my daughter, Sarah, said, 'Pimp up your Christmas Tree'!) is 'modern' in concept and involves pieced Father Christmases,  some simple, strip pieced conifer trees, and a large area of ‘negative space’ (the background).

The skirt is formed of twelve segments or ‘gores’, alternating Father Christmases and pine trees, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stick to that format; you can have all trees, or 11 trees and one FC, or alternate plain gores, but I think that would be a bit sparse. The choice is yours!

Come and have some fun with Liz making this fantastic tree skirt.  Just what we need to put us in the party mood when the weather is heading towards cold and miserable!

Book your place now as these tickets won’t be on the web site for long once word gets out!
